At J M Price & Co we are a vibrant and proactive practice that has the knowledge and the drive to help others succeed. We have been involved with new businesses and been key people in larger, established businesses.
Joanna Price FCCA - Without Joanna there would be no J M in J M Price & Co! Yes she's the boss and the driving force behind the accountancy. She takes it as a compliment when people say she "doesn't look like an accountant" and her friendly and easy going nature sometimes belies her professional and skilful approach to her work. Joanna qualified in 1999 and formed J M Price & Co in 2006. She has over 20 years experience of working in various practices in the North West and North Wales area.
Away from the practice, Joanna is a laugh a minute (well certainly a laugh an hour anyway) who loves cheering on the Welsh rugby team during the six nations championship and is somewhat of a classic rock connoisseur. When she eventually has a spare minute she likes to kick back with a movie or two as long as they are not scary ones!
Derek Booth - Internet Marketer, Google Adwords Professional and Search Engine Optimiser. Derek has insightful business and marketing skills which he combines with his internet experience to provide a dynamic approach to business. His history includes running a steel works, a software department, setting up remote monitoring stations in Australia and of course starting and running small businesses.
An ex professional footballer, Derek now plies his trade with the mighty Llangollen Town FC and can still be seen hitting the back of the net despite his now veteran status!
His "witty" one liners often leave others with a blank expression on their faces before they burst into laughter to protect his feelings!
He likes his rock music in two flavours, fast and even faster and if his biggest dream were to come true, he would live with a big grin on his face at a table in Pizza Hut devouring a constant supply of meat feast pizza and garlic bread with cheese.
Julian Price- Julian is an accounts assistant and has worked in the industry for over 6 years. He joined the team in summer of 2008 after working in another local practice where he gained significant experience in the area of Payroll and PAYE.
Due to his excellent cups of tea and impeccable timing (he makes one just when you need it most) he takes the role of ‘can lad' very seriously and will soon start coming to work in oversized woolly jumper with overlong arms and full of holes.
Having said that he probably does make the best cup of tea in the Northern Hemisphere!
Currently leading the inter-office fantasy football league his gloating over footy pro Derek is often unbearable but wholly justified!
Tony Booth MCSE - Tony maintains our computer and email infrastructure. Whilst working in Canada he helped to install and support the network in a large college campus.
Being a Cobol programmer with UNIX experience, adds to his impressive networking CV.
Diane Clark - Diane is AAT Qualified and is a very experienced book keeper with a considerable expertise in payroll matters. She is able to offer invaluable advice on how best to keep your accounting records. It is often said that Diane offers much more than a simple book keeping service.
Can often be found at agility events with her dogs, Diane and ‘Jacko' starred on TV at Olympia in 2006.
Sandra Fisher- The newest member of the team. Sandra is an administrative assistant with a bubbly personality and very much a ‘people person'.
