J M Price & Co was born out of a desire to provide a quality service with total transparency of fees. We believe in complete honesty and keeping clients informed of any developments in their assignment that may impact on fees.

We also believe that in the first years of a business relationship it is important to learn as much about a client as possible, to help a client develop internal systems of control and administration that help keep accountancy fees as low as realistically possible. The more a client does, and does well, the lower our fee should be.

As a firm we stand for integrity and a commitment to professional ethics - always with a warm and friendly approach - we prefer to keep things "human" rather than "technical".

We believe in finding the best approach, the best systems and building the best business relationship that is relevant to your own circumstance, assuring clients of the highest level of service. We have developed ways of working to reduce your costs. Fees are always a contentious issue, we want to make money, and you want to pay as little as possible. We are completely transparent about the level of our fees, and always aim to give you a realistic estimate of fees. Naturally, it is always difficult to estimate fees before commencing work for the first time. However we aim to honour all our fixed fees, but never fix them for more than a year at a time. We will always be honest with you if our estimate was unrealistic and will communicate the nature of the cause of the problem and strive to come to a mutually acceptable agreement.
